A week in paradise

A few weeks ago Peter and I flew out to "Sunny" San Diego for a week at a condo with my mom and sisters. It was so good to meet my new nephew and get to spend time with my sisters who both live out of state. We did lots of fun stuff together: went to the beach, ate sushi, walked along the boardwalk in La Jolla and saw Seal Beach, went shopping, took a whale watching tour for almost 5 hours, got sea sick, saw three whales, helped Margie and Allan move, and had a lot of fun hanging out with all my girls. Peter got to play with his cousin Isaac the whole week, so he had a blast. They were really cute together. Ironically the weather there was chilly and cloudy the whole time! And when I got back to Utah the weather here was sunny and warm :)

On the whale watching ferry with Peter and nephew Isaac. I just love that windblown look for my hair! I got sea sick pretty fast because I was trying to keep my balance as the boat rocked back and forth while also trying to keep Peter from falling into the watery depths.
