Mothers Day

This was my first Mother's Day as a mother. Let me just say that this year, I really understand why we even have a mother's day! I've found that as I have had my own child, I have come to appreciate my mom so much more. I never really understood how much time, love, and effort she put into each one of her children, but now I have a better grasp on what she really did for us 6 kids! After I have six kids, then I will really understand.

Sean made my first mother's day very memorable. He made a wonderful Mother's Day dinner: Pesto angel hair with baby shrimp, green salad, strawberry drink, and Milano cookies! yummy! It was the best food I've ever eaten! He got me a dozen roses and planned a fun date too. He is so thoughtful and kind. What a man! I'm so glad he is the father of my child and that I get to be his wife.

I wished I had taken a picture of the delicious meal Sean cooked for me, but I was so excited to eat it, I didn't get the camera out until after I had eaten it all up! So here is a picture of my plate, post-meal. Doesn't it look like it was tasty? Thanks Sean!
