Baby Elora has arrived!

Photo

We are happy to announce the arrival of our baby girl Elora! She was
born yesterday just before 6pm. Here's the birth story:

Sunday morning I woke up and had a few big contractions, and I was so
excited!!! I'd been feeling like the baby was ready to come, even
though her due date wasn't till the 23rd. But the contractions went
away after 30 minutes, and I was just having small irregular ones. So
we decided to go on a walk and right away the contractions came back
about 3 minutes apart! After our walk, the contractions settled back
down and nearly stopped, so I took a nap. But when I woke up my water
broke! Woo hoo! So we went to the hospital, got the epidural, and 3.5
hrs later they said I was ready to push! I only had to push for 7
minutes and then she was here! She weighed 7 lbs 15 oz and measured
19" long. She has chubby rolls all over and lots of dark hair. She's a
great eater and sleeper, but most of all she's really good at
snuggling and being adorable. I feel very tired but extremely happy to
have her here. Sean is in love with her and the boys really like being
my helpers. We are so grateful that God blessed us with this precious
baby girl! What a treat! Here's a picture of her:
