We've been having a lot of fun lately, and really enjoying the warm weather. The boys helped me clear out the garden just in case I get ambitious enough to plant anything. This warm springtime weather always gets me in the mood to dig around in the dirt, but then once summer comes along, I usually get too lazy to actually take care of the plants that are growing. But I think it would be fun for the boys to see how to grow their own pumpkins or something easy like that.
The boys had their first trip to the dentist, and they loved it! It was really fun and they are really excited about using "magic string" (floss) and we have been much better about brushing teeth. I think they'd enjoy going to the dentist every day if they could because they liked it so much. I'm really glad because I was kind of scared they might have a bad experience and never want to show anyone their teeth again, and then they'd all rot and fall out! I know it's an exaggeration, but hey, it could happen, right?
We also went with Oma, Opa and cousin Andrew to the Discovery Gateway. I really love that place! Too bad it costs so much. But it's definitely worth the money to see your kids having so much fun and learning a lot. I wish they'd make one of those closer to Orem! I love finding places to take the kids where they can have fun and play and I can sit back and just watch and take pictures :)
I don't have a picture of it, but we went to Jump On It in Lindon and it was a blast!!! I was really surprised by how much fun we had there! The kids were totally safe and LOVED jumping around and playing on the inflatables. I kind of thought it would be ghetto and that my kids would get hurt, but it was really great! and it was only $5 for half an hour ($10 total for me and Sean, the boys were free) so it was really perfect! I'd recommend going if you haven't been yet.
Happy Springtime!
