Vacation!

Sean and I went on a little vacation last week to Salt Lake City! How exotic! Sean decided to actually use some of the hundreds of vacation hours he had been saving up for the past couple years. So we dropped Peter off at my parent's house and drove to SLC. We had a great coupon for the Anniversary Inn, so we go to stay in themed rooms and we picked a different one for each day we were there (Jungle Safari, Mysteries of Egypt and Enchanted Forest). We did a bunch of fun things that we normally can't do with Peter. We went mountain biking, went to the temple and saw the room where we were married, went out to a movie, went to the Planetarium and the aquarium, and we ate out a whole lot. It was a blast to be together and have so much time to talk and just be the two of us for a few days. Of course, by the end we were really excited to see Peter again.

  1. Catherine! I am so glad you posted about your little get away because Mike and I saw you and Sean! I have meant to tell you about it, but I keep forgetting. Anyway, Jack and I had been in the house for too long and so when Mike said he had to do a report on a building for his architecture class and was headed to the Joseph Smith Memorial building to get info, we had to go with him for some fresh air. Anyway, while driving there, I see this cute couple and a knock out in a red dress, I thought, "that looks like Catherine and Sean." Well, it totally was!!!! I was shocked and I was going to yell out to you, but we had already passed. So, after spending some time at the JSMB, we were driving back and once again we see you guys walking back from the temple!!!! It was so funny. We were going to stop this time, but Jack was hungry and not too happy! Anyway, it was a fun story and I thought you would like to hear about it. Glad to hear you had a fun break. :)
